New Moon In cancer Meditation and Ritual

This is a meditation and ritual that you can use for this New Moon in Cancer. It could also be used for any new moon or at any time that you feel called to set new intentions.

For this ritual you will need a piece of green ribbon, your journal and a pen.

You may also wish to have a special crystal to connect to the energy of the Cancer New Moon such as Moonstone, Selenite, Rose Quartz or Rhodonite.

A candle. Green, White or another colour that you feel called to work with.

To begin.

Find a quiet space. It does not matter if it is day or night. It is also possible to work with New Moon for the 3 days before and after.

I would also like to say that for you Mama's struggling to find quiet this whole process could also be done beautifully with you children around you or taking part. (I too have been at the stage when I wondered whether quietness will ever re enter my life...and it does eventually x).

Light your candle and hold your crystal if using it.

Take a few deep breaths. Welcome yourself. Connect to yourself. I always like to say a silent "Hello You" to my higher self.

Gently bring your hands together and chant the Adi Mantra 3 times.

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

Bowing to the primal wisdom within, opening your intuition and harnessing the scared space of this very moment.

I also like to welcome my guides, my angels, my ancestors and spirit. The elements and energies of the universe. I ask for guidance and support on my journey.

Practise the following meditation.

A Meditation to Truly Touch Others

Posture: Sit in Easy Pose

Mudra: Spread the fingers of the left hand as far apart as possible and place the hand on the Heart Center with the thumb pointing up. Make the right hand into a fist with the index finger extended. Place the right arm by the side with the elbow down and the index finger pointing up. Position the arm so that the tip of the right index finger is level with the tip of the eye, palm facing forward

The eyes are closed

Your breath is Long Deep Breathing

After listening to the mantra a few times begin chanting...

AAD SACH, JUGAAD SACH, HAI BHEE SACH, NAANAK HOSEE BHEE SACH

(Aykanna have a good version)

Gently draw in the navel each time you chant “sach”helping to activate the energy.

Continue for at least 8 minutes.

The mantra means.

"True in the beginning, True throughout the Ages True at this moment, This Truth shall ever be."

The Aad Such mantra is to help remove blocks or obstacles when you get stuck in life. It helps shift the energy of a situation to get things moving again to help you navigate life. It can help you gather your strength, cultivating your vision and intuition so you can see the way forward. By aligning yourself with the truth of the ages that is your divine essence, you are able to connect with Divine flow and follow your souls path with ease and grace.

To Finish: Inhale deeply. Exhale and relax.

Comments: We touch each other with the eyes. We touch each other with the ears. We touch each other with songs and words. We touch physically. Our touch can hurt another. We touch to give birth. If you look at the whole spectrum of life, it’s nothing but touch.

However sometimes we feel so alone. The connection we have with each other leaves us feeling unseen, unheard. We are distracted. It is time to learn how to re connect again.

Through this meditation we can learn to truly touch each other, to be present with each other in the physical, spiritual and ethereal realms.

Your presence will be felt by others through only your thoughts.

When you press the navel to create the word sound “sach,” after a long practice or a short practice—depending on your habit—you become intuitive. Provided all five fingers on the left hand are open and the right hand index finger is up.

Once you have finished your meditation. Take out your journal and write your intentions for this New Moon.

Ask yourself.

What do I need to be the Woman I truly want to be?

How can I support myself to achieve this?

Where do I feel Home? How can I nurture this more?

What is it my highest self is calling me to do?

What is Stopping me?

My highest intention for this New Moon is....?

Once you have your highest intention write it onto your piece of green ribbon.

Thank your angels and guides for their wisdom and support.

Chant Sat Nam.

Go gently outside and find a special tree. You could also create a symbolic tree on your alter using a branch.

Tie the ribbon around a branch thinking of your intention.

Whisper "So mote it be." On the final tying.

Take a moment to observe the ribbon in the tree symbolising the potential of this next moon cycle and feel the excitement and anticipation moving through your body.

Ask the energies to support you over the next few weeks in achieving your intention for your highest good and for the highest good of all beings.

And so it is, and so it is, and so it is.

Blessed be.
